Even though the Willard Crimson Flashes scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, the Sandusky Blue Streaks still came out on top. Sandusky skirted past Willard 66-64. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sandusky.
Sandusky got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Amir Aaron out in front who scored 16 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Kobe Brown was another key contributor, scoring 23 points along with seven rebounds.
Sandusky's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.2 points per game. As for Willard, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2.
Sandusky will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Columbian at 7:30 p.m. Columbian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 165th, while Sandusky is ranked 23rd). As for Willard, they will head out on the road to face off against Vermilion at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
