St. Albans got themselves on the board against South Charleston on Monday, but South Charleston never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Black Eagles. The Red Dragons haven't had any issues with the Black Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

St. Albans' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for South Charleston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Albans will venture away from home to face off against Spring Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Timberwolves will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Red Dragons surely won't give up without a fight. As for South Charleston, they will square off against Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Black Eagles are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
