League recap: Carolina Pride win leads to rise in state rank

Carolina Pride moved up to 253 from 290 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Carolina Christian AA. The Pride climbed the ranks as a result of falling to Providence Day 45-7.

Carolina Pride made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,544 from 9,808. The improvement was the result of 45-7 victory over Mike Martin's team last week.

Thanks to the talents of Jake MacKey and Jonathan Adams the Pride have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. MacKey leads the league in passing with 521 yards, while Adams has rushed for 659 yards this season. Airborne for Christ's Cory Graham leads the league in receiving yards with 217 on five catches.
