Meanwhile, Moapa Valley waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Desert Shields as they made off with a 22-3 victory. The Pirates' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Wednesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Mater Academy East Las Vegas has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .485. However, it's not like Moapa Valley struggles in that department as they've averaged .633. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
