Woodbridge faced Red Lion Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Raiders' pitcher stepped up to hand the Lions a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won eight games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Woodbridge got a massive performance out of Caroline Scott, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that Scott has launched this season. Abriyah Reed was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Woodbridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .538. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March.

The win was the third in a row for Woodbridge, bringing their record up to 11-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Red Lion Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Woodbridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Red Lion Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Sunday against Brandywine at 1:30 p.m.
