Turner is 0-5 against White since October of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Turner Lions will be playing at home against the White Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. Turner is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
Turner pushed their score all the way to 32 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were outmatched by Adams on the road and fell 62-32. Turner was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-0.
Edgar Castilla put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 73 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 32 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for White at home against Adams on October 4th as the squad secured a 49-12 win. With White ahead 42-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
White's victory bumped their season record to 4-3 while Turner's defeat dropped theirs to 1-7.
Turner was taken down by White 53-6 when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Will Turner have more luck at home instead of on the road?
