Tommy Giaimo ran for two touchdowns and
Anthony Prus added three as well as
Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, N.J.) bested
Linden (N.J.) 35-21 on Saturday.
The Warriors were up 21-7 at the half after taking the lead on a Giaimo touchdown run in the first quarter.
Each side put up seven points during the third quarter, and the fourth quarter began with the margin still at 14.
Watchung Hills Regional got revenge for last year's 13-7 loss to the Tigers with the victory.
With the win WHR extended its winning streak to four games.
In a Mid-State 38 - Watchung game next week Watchung Hills Regional (5-3) takes on Ridge, and Linden (1-6) will go up against Bridgewater-Raritan in a non-conference game.
