Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Liberty Christian Prep Lions walked away with it. They pulled ahead with a 27-26 photo finish over Geneva Classical Academy. Liberty Christian Prep didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.
Despite the loss, Geneva Classical Academy still got an impressive performance from Bennett Bayhan, who rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns. Bayhan is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played. Poe Stirk also helped out as he racked up 104 receiving yards.
Liberty Christian Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Geneva Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
Liberty Christian Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Geneva Classical Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
