The San Rafael Bulldogs will challenge the Stone Ridge Christian Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
San Rafael is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Novato: they outscored them in every quarter. The Bulldogs blew past the Hornets 37-12 on Saturday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

San Rafael's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lachlan Royston led the charge by throwing for 242 yards and four TDs. The dominant performance also gave Royston a new career-high in rushing yards (17). Another rusher making a difference was Rio Johnson, who rushed for 145 yards and one score while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to San Rafael's defense and their three sacks. Lorence Olshansky was especially locked on to Novato's QB and sacked him twice. Olshansky also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with six.
Meanwhile, Stone Ridge Christian was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Gustine 43-7. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-0.
San Rafael better keep an eye on Daijon Oneil. He was instrumental in Stone Ridge Christian's win, picking up 448 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 45 yards and a pair of TDs. With that strong performance, Oneil is now averaging an impressive 136.1 receiving yards per game. Marcus Gray was another key player, throwing for 252 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.
San Rafael's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Stone Ridge Christian, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
We should be in store for an exciting game as the two teams have no problem gaining yardage. San Rafael has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 375.4 total yards per game. However, it's not like Stone Ridge Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 355.3 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.
San Rafael and Stone Ridge Christian were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, but San Rafael came up empty-handed after a 10-9 defeat.
