Monticello not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 12th (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Liberty Redhawks 3-0. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Redhawks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Monticello not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Liberty between 14 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-15.

Monticello's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Monticello will square off against Burke Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Liberty, they will venture away from home to challenge Tuxedo at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
