The Oak Level Baptist Academy Conquerors suffered their biggest defeat since November 16, 2023 on Thursday. They were beaten by Union Grove Christian 62-28. Oak Level Baptist Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-6.
It was another big night for Colin Wykes, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds and two steals for Union Grove Christian. Wykes is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 15 games he's played. Calvin Miller was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Oak Level Baptist Academy are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12. As for Union Grove Christian, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-3.
Oak Level Baptist Academy will head out on the road to challenge South Guilford HomeSchool at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Union Grove Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Nebo Crossing Academy on January 19th. Nebo Crossing Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
