Harbor Light Christian put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past Boyne Falls, posting a 70-34 win on the road. Given Harbor Light Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Loggers are ranked 730th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, North Michigan Christian Academy took a serious blow against the Lancers on Friday, falling 75-32. North Michigan Christian Academy has not had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Harbor Light Christian's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for North Michigan Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
Everything went Harbor Light Christian's way against the Comets in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the Swordsmen made off with a 86-61 win.
