The Northwood Rangers will look to defend their home court on Monday against the North Baltimore Tigers at 7:30 p.m. North Baltimore took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Northwood, who comes in off a win.
Northwood came into Saturday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 37-30 win over Swanton on Saturday. The victory was just what Northwood needed coming off of a 43-19 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, North Baltimore's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Saturday after their 16th straight defeat. They took a 44-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ada.
North Baltimore's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kaylee Allison, who scored 16 points along with five assists and two steals, and Mackenna Ducat who scored four points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks. Ducat is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last 11 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Dewitt, who scored three points along with three steals.
Northwood's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-8. As for North Baltimore, they dropped their record down to 1-18 with that defeat, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.
