Red Mesa got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jerwin Begay out in front who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds. Those eight rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Jonah Herbert was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with nine rebounds.
Music Mountain has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Red Mesa, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6.
Music Mountain's road trip will continue as they head out to face Rock Point at 2:30 p.m. on December 16th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Rock Point is ranked 282nd, while Music Mountain is ranked 303rd). Red Mesa will be home for the holidays to greet Seligman at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
