The Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past Mount Dora 54-21 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Jordan Christian Prep who now have six in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jordan Christian Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amelia Williams, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Williams has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 15 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Delyana Morris, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Jordan Christian Prep pushed their record up to 11-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Mount Dora, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan Christian Prep on the road again on Monday and play against Haines City at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Haines City presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jordan Christian Prep in Florida (Haines City is ranked 82nd, while Jordan Christian Prep is ranked 246th). As for Mount Dora, Mount Dora and Eustis will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.
