Despite their defeat, Cripple Creek-Victor saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Luciano Varas, who scored 11 points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Tony Woods, who scored ten points.
While Kiowa couldn't quite beat Hanover on Saturday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 41-point defeat they were dealt last Thursday. Kiowa fell just short of Hanover by a score of 27-25. Kiowa has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cripple Creek-Victor was dealt a bruising 60-18 defeat at the hands of Kiowa in their previous meeting back in January of 2023.
