Minatare is 1-9 against Leyton since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Minatare Indians will be staying on the road to face off against the Leyton Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on January 15th.
Minatare suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 64-36 loss at the hands of Morrill. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Minatare in their matchups with Morrill: they've now lost eight in a row.
Meanwhile, Leyton didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Potter-Dix on Friday, but they still walked away with a 53-47 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Leyton.
Minatare has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Leyton, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7.
Minatare took a serious blow against Leyton in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 74-35. Thankfully for Minatare, Justin Ernest (who scored 33 points along with six rebounds and six steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
