Basketball Recap: Twin Lakes Falls Despite Big Games from Jasmine West and Addyson Hines

Twin Lakes lost against West Lafayette back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Twin Lakes Indians fell 46-39 to the West Lafayette Red Devils. The Indians' loss continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Twin Lakes' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Addyson Hines, who posted 16 points and six rebounds, and Jasmine West, who had 14 points. Hines' evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Lipps, who earned two points along with 11 boards and four steals.

Twin Lakes' record is now 2-8. As for West Lafayette, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.

Twin Lakes will head out to face off against Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Lafayette, they will host Hamilton Heights at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
