Montgomery had won three straight games and Ava Collins did her part to make it four on Thursday. The Bears walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Logos Prep Academy Lions with plenty of help from Collins, who had 23 assists and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 42 games she's played dating back to last season.

Montgomery's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Logos Prep Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-1.

Montgomery wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against East View on the 28th. As for Logos Prep Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Dawson on the 28th.
