Football Recap: Sports Leadership & Management's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cardinal Newman, Sports Leadership & Management was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Inlet Grove Hurricanes get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cobras as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Sports Leadership & Management's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Inlet Grove, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After each having a week off, Sports Leadership & Management and Jupiter will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field one another at 6:00 p.m. on April 1st. Jupiter will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. Inlet Grove will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Boynton Beach at 6:00 p.m. on April 1st. Boynton Beach's defense has only allowed 9.4 points per game this season, so Inlet Grove's offense will have their work cut out for them.
