After a string of four wins, the Christian Community Colts's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 43-36 to Horizon Christian Academy.
Christian Community's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anna Nix, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. M.J. Dodd was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five assists.
Christian Community's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Horizon Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
Christian Community will be playing at home against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Horizon Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Academe of the Oaks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
