Anthony Gerbasio was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He struck out eight batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
