The Jordan Hubmen / Jaguars will be taking part in a tournament against the Spring Lake Park Panthers at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Jordan is coming into the match hot, having won their last 11 games.
Jordan took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Southwest Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Hubmen / Jaguars had just enough and edged out the Stars 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hubmen / Jaguars have posted since September 8th.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Jordan got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 22-25, 25-19, 21-25, 15-10.
Meanwhile, Spring Lake Park unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-match winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against Rogers, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since September 9th.
While Spring Lake Park was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14, 25-22.
Jordan's victory bumped their record up to 21-1. As for Spring Lake Park, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 12-5.
