Mansfield Legacy has gone a perfect 6-0 against Crowley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Broncos will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mansfield Legacy has ten straight victories, Crowley has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Tuesday, Mansfield Legacy got the win against Mansfield by a conclusive 11-1. Considering the Broncos have won 14 matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Natalie Moreaux was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ryleigh Stinson, who fired off two home runs and six RBI while going 2-for-3. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Hope Gaudio was another key player, going 4-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
Mansfield Legacy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 11 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Crowley fell victim to Mansfield and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 16-0 to the Tigers.
Mansfield Legacy's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Crowley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14-2.
Crowley's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Mansfield Legacy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Crowley, though, as they've been averaging only 0.8 strikeouts. Will Mansfield Legacy keep running through batters, or will the Eagles buck the trend?
Mansfield Legacy took their win against Crowley when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 14-0 score. Will the Broncos repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
