The Upson-Lee Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 61-50 to Heritage.
Heritage's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kirk Seeley led the charge by scoring 18 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Seeley has scored at least 25% of Heritage's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Armond Smith, who scored 15 points.
Upson-Lee has fallen quite a ways from their 21-7 record last season and are now at 2-5. As for Heritage, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Upson-Lee will be playing in front of their home fans against Manchester at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Heritage, they will head out on the road to face off against Winder-Barrow at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Winder-Barrow has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 253 points over their last four contests.
