Pewitt lost to Rivercrest back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Brahmas were the clear victors by a 34-14 margin over the Rebels. The Brahmas might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Datokta Zavala threw for 178 yards on only 16 passes. Cruz Zavala was his top target, picking up 102 receiving yards. On the ground, Cade Nix rushed for 176 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.0 yards per carry.

Pewitt has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Rivercrest, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Pewitt has already played their next game, a 45-12 win against Alba-Golden on the 31st. As for Rivercrest, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 31-28 victory against Boles on the 31st.
