The Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Laguna Creek by a score of 62-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cosumnes Oaks also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2018.
Cosumnes Oaks' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jay Washington led the charge by scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds. Henry Hill was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with nine rebounds.
Despite the loss, Laguna Creek still got an impressive performance from Adaarion "AD" Strauthers, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. Those four blocks set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Tylen Lomax, who scored ten points.
Cosumnes Oaks' victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Laguna Creek, their loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2.
Cosumnes Oaks will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against El Camino at 4:00 p.m. on December 14th.
