The University School Preppers will take on the Holy Name Green Wave at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. University School will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
University School's pitching crew heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Wednesday. They blew past Western Reserve Academy 16-0. The Preppers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six  runs or more this season.
 Slater Schoaf looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances.

 At the plate, University School let  Jack Nelson and  Deacon Nelson run wild. Jack  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple, while  Deacon  went a perfect 3-for-3 with four  runs and two  stolen bases. Those  four  runs gave  Deacon a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sal Prolizo, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  RBI and one  run.
 University School  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .686. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Meanwhile, Holy Name fell victim to Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin and their airtight pitching crew  on Tuesday. They came up short against  the Lions, falling  7-0. The Green Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 University School pushed their record up to 16-2 with the  victory, which was their 19th straight  at home dating back to last season. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Holy Name, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-1.
