The Vail Christian Saints took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 26-18 win over Lake County. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Vail Christian also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Vail Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noelle Razee led the charge by scoring 2 points along with 11 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Addie Chester, who scored 2 points along with 5 steals.
Vail Christian's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Lake County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Vail Christian will be playing at home against Plateau Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake County, they will head out on the road to face off against Cotopaxi at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
