Having just played yesterday, the Roselle Catholic Lions will get right back to it and host the Life Center Academy Warriors at 8:00 p.m. on December 15th.
Roselle Catholic kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell to St. Benedict's Prep 45-41.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Life Center Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They snuck past Hun with a 71-67 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Elijah Brown was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mekhi Robertson, who scored 14 points.
Roselle Catholic's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-1. As for Life Center Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.
