Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thompson Falls). They enjoyed a cozy 64-50 win over the Anaconda Copperheads on Saturday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Blue Hawks with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Thompson Falls and bumps their season record up to 3-2. As for Anaconda, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Thompson Falls and Powell County will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Powell County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Thompson Falls surely won't give up without a fight. As for Anaconda, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Stevensville at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
