In what's become a running theme this season, the Manchester Blue Devils gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 70-47 margin over Harris County. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Manchester also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Daryus Bryant was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Dre McGhee, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Despite the loss, Harris County still got an impressive performance from Cameron Phillips, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. That was a full 40.4% of Harris County's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Connar Kloehn was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Manchester pushed their record up to 15-7 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.9 points per game. As for Harris County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.
Manchester does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Harris County will be playing in front of their home fans against the at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Georgia (Drew is ranked 487th, while the Tigers are ranked 475th).
