The Fulton Science Academy Mustangs can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 65-54 win over Atlanta Jewish Academy. The win was just what Fulton Science Academy needed coming off of a 80-43 loss in their prior contest.
Fulton Science Academy had a senior duo take command as Andre Green, Jr. scored 32 points and Samir Noohani scored 23 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Noohani has scored at least 25% of Fulton Science Academy's points.
Several Jaguar players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zac Agichtein, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Edan Eyal, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds.
The victory got Fulton Science Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Atlanta Jewish Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Fulton Science Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against LaGrange Academy at 7:30 p.m. As for Atlanta Jewish Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Heritage Preparatory at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
