Sennon Lawrence turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Saturday. He turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. He also tossed two walks, which is notable because Valor Christian is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 3-8 otherwise.

Lawrence's strong effort led Valor Christian over Columbine and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
