Corwin Wang gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run over 6.2 innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Sycamore is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-9 otherwise.

Wang's strong effort led Sycamore over Fairfield and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Aviators will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 236 places lower in Ohio), but they're not letting that get them down.
