After losing to the Weiss Wolves the last time they met, the Harker Heights Knights decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Harker Heights blew past Weiss 76-53. Given Harker Heights' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 335th, while Weiss is ranked 1065th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Defeat or not, Weiss got some senior leadership from Serese Williams who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds and Tamara Dilworth who scored 18 points along with 3 steals.
Harker Heights has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Weiss, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Harker Heights will head out on the road to face off against Midway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Weiss, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Temple at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
