The Mount Tahoma T-Birds lost against the Bonney Lake Panthers back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Mount Tahoma was outmatched by Bonney Lake at home and fell 67-15. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mount Tahoma in their matchups with Bonney Lake: they've now lost six in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bonney Lake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jazmyn Shipp, who scored eight points along with seven assists and six rebounds. Shipp set a new season high mark in steals with five. The team also got some help courtesy of Evin Elias, who scored 16 points.
Mount Tahoma now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Bonney Lake, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Stadium the next time they take the court. Mount Tahoma will head out to face Stadium at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Bonney Lake will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
