The Westwood Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They fell 63-53 to Tradition Prep. Westwood has struggled against Tradition Prep recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Westwood still got an impressive performance from Addly Osne, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds. Jordan Crutchfield was another key contributor, scoring three points along with 11 rebounds.
Tradition Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aydan Fields out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fields has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jayden Harris, who scored 17 points.
Westwood bumped their record down to 5-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Tradition Prep, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Westwood will head out on the road to challenge John Carroll Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tradition Prep won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Okeechobee at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. Hopefully Okeechobee focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Tuesday.
