There's no place like home for Aletheia Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Snook Christian Academy Eagles on Friday. Considering the Lions have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Darius Dunmiles and Tristan Nelson did most of the damage at the plate: Dunmiles scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Nelson scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Those two runs gave Nelson a new career-high. Britian Wheeler was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2.

Aletheia Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Snook Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .304.

Aletheia Christian Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Snook Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.

Aletheia Christian Academy will head out to challenge Lighthouse Private Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Stingrays will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Snook Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against South Choctaw Academy at 4:00 p.m.
