Hampton came out on top against Cloudland on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run first inning. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Highlanders with a sharp 15-4 win. The game marked the Bulldogs' most dominant victory of the season.

Hampton pushed their record up to 6-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Cloudland, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Hampton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cloudland, they will head out to face off against Avery County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
