Pleasant View Christian found their leader in underclassman Hollynn Carney, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gwen Carr, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.
Pleasant View Christian's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10. As for Varsity Opponent, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 29 of their last 32 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 108-389 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasant View Christian will take on the Patriots at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Varsity Opponent, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on January 31st.
