After a string of five wins, Lutheran's good fortune finally ran out  on Saturday. They came up short against  the Palisade Bulldogs, falling  3-0. The  contest marked the first time this year in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.

That's the most  aces  Mcgriff has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of  Reese Brgoch, who  had six  digs and 12  assists.
 Lutheran's defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 6-2. As for Palisade, the  win was  the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.
 Lutheran didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  victory vs. Holy Family on the 21st. As for Palisade, they are on the road again  on Thursday to play Grand Junction at 6:00  p.m.
