Wayne Memorial had won five straight road games and Carlos Medlock Jr did his part to make it six on Friday. The Wayne Memorial Zebras were the clear victor by a 69-49 margin over the Belleville Tigers thanks in part to Medlock Jr, who went 10-for-20 en route to 25 points along with six assists and five rebounds. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points.

Another player making a difference was Joshua Dennis, who posted seven points and eight boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Wayne Memorial's record now sits at 18-2. As for Belleville, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 15-6.

Wayne Memorial has already played their next game, an 85-58 victory against Stevenson on the 17th. As for Belleville, they will be playing at home against Dearborn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Dearborn's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.
