Meanwhile, Lynn English was able to grind out a solid win over Revere on Thursday, taking the game 6-3.
Jariel Benzan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Benzan was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Lynn English always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .520. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Revere only posted an OBP of .375.
Lynn Classical's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lynn English, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Lynn Classical took their victory against Lynn English in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 14-3 score. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
