Carlisle Christian Academy stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 61-34 win over Varsity Opponent. The victory was just what Carlisle Christian Academy needed coming off of a 80-41 defeat in their prior contest.
It was another big night for Gabe Kearney, who scored 42 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Collin Wevodau, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Bedford County CIA's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Friday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 49-33 fall against Carlisle Christian Academy.
Carlisle Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Bedford County CIA, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-3.
Carlisle Christian Academy strolled past Bedford County CIA in their previous meeting last Friday by a score of 49-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carlisle Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
