After a string of six wins, Math & Science College Preparatory's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Foshay Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.
While Math & Science College Preparatory ultimately came up short, they really made Foshay work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 23-25, 27-25, 25-14.
Math & Science College Preparatory's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Foshay, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
