In what's become a running theme this season, the Butler Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They really took it to Glenn Hills for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-24 win at home. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Butler as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Leading Butler to victory were Karen Nimo and Brayla Harris. Nimo dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Harris scored 21 points along with seven steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Harris has scored at least a third of Butler's points. Taylor Byrd was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Butler's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Glenn Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Laney the next time they take the court. Butler will head out to face Laney at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Glenn Hills will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
