The Muncy Indians stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They breezed by South Williamsport on the road to the tune of 68-38. Winning may never get old, but Muncy sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Patrick Zalonis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Rogers, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Muncy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for South Williamsport, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Muncy will take on Montoursville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Muncy is coming into the matchup with seven straight wins at home, meaning Montoursville will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. South Williamsport will take on Neumann Regional Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
