Aiden Boehm Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, California Lutheran got the W thanks in part to Aiden Boehm playing the best football he has all season. Boehm picked up 76 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble, making five total tackles, and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception.
The win was the third in a row for California Lutheran, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Boehm and California Lutheran will head out on the road to face off against Calvary Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

California Lutheran was led to victory by Colton Mcgee, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Mcgee rushed for 138 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 135 yards and three touchdowns.
This season, Mcgee has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 127.8 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 60.5 passing yards per game.

He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack, making six total tackles, and defending a pass.
Calvary Baptist is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. Rabins and Calvary Baptist have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome California Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
