The Deckerville Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 51-40 to Peck. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Deckerville in their matchups with Peck: they've now lost four in a row.
Peck was led to victory by Cal Heiden and Thomas West. Heiden scored 20 points, while West dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which West has scored at least 25% of Peck's points. Carter Babcock was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.
Deckerville's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Peck, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
Deckerville will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against North Huron at 8:00 p.m. North Huron is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Peck, they will head out on the road to face off against Mayville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
